It delivers a personalized news feed based on users' interests and interactions, while using AI to generate concise article summaries and help users discover relevant content through smart search.
The project was built end-to-end as part of the AI, Data & Emerging Technologies Link Program at solutions by stc. Our team worked across product discovery, competitive analysis, UX, backend development, AI integration, database design, and deployment.
Key features include personalized recommendations, AI-generated summaries, interest-based onboarding, smart search, and trusted multi-source news aggregation.
Tech Stack: FastAPI, Streamlit, Ollama, Groq API, NewsData.io, SQLAlchemy, Neon, Docker, and Claude Code.
